Privacy Policy

How website data may be processed when you use BusinessBanks.us.

Last updated: September 30, 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy describes information that may be processed when a visitor uses BusinessBanks.us. It covers the publication itself, server-level technical records, information a visitor chooses to send, and third-party services if they are enabled on the live site.

The current static build does not load third-party analytics or advertising because the advertising configuration is disabled. Hosting infrastructure may still create ordinary server logs for security, reliability and request handling.

Technical information

Web servers and security infrastructure may process data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, date and time, response status and similar technical records. These records can be used to deliver the site, investigate abuse, diagnose errors and protect infrastructure.

BusinessBanks.us does not need a visitor to create an account to read the publication. The site should avoid collecting personal information that is not necessary for a defined function.

Information a visitor provides

If a visitor contacts BusinessBanks.us through a future monitored email address or contact form, the message and any information included in it may be processed to answer the request, investigate a correction, address an accessibility issue or handle another legitimate inquiry.

Visitors should not send bank passwords, authentication codes, account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identifiers or other sensitive financial credentials. BusinessBanks.us does not need those details to review an editorial correction.

Advertising and analytics services

If advertising or analytics technology is enabled in a later live release, this page must be updated to identify the relevant categories of processing and the consent controls used where required. Third-party services may set or read cookies and other identifiers according to their own policies and applicable law.

Enabling a service in code without updating the public privacy disclosure is not considered an acceptable release state under our site QA process.

Cookies and local storage

The publication may use strictly necessary browser storage for site functions if a feature requires it. Advertising or measurement cookies should not be assumed to be active merely because the site contains reserved ad locations. The live implementation determines what actually runs.

Retention and security

Technical and contact records should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operational, security, editorial or legal purposes. Reasonable safeguards should be used, but no website can promise absolute security for information transmitted over the internet.

Privacy rights and requests

Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction and by the type of information involved. A visitor who wants to ask about personal information associated with a direct contact message should use the public contact method when it becomes available and provide enough context to locate the request without sending unnecessary sensitive data.

Changes to this policy

This policy should be reviewed whenever the site adds analytics, advertising, forms, user accounts or another feature that changes data processing. The update date at the top of the page should reflect a substantive review, not an automatic timestamp.
